A seasoned politician, Hon Ajibuwa Blessing Nwaene has signified his intention to contest the Akoko North West Constituency I seat in the Ondo State House of Assembly.

Ajibuwa who declared his intention recently said he’s prepared to serve the people of Akoko North West Constituency 1 in the Ondo State House of Assembly through quality representation.

Ajibuwa who hails from Okeagbe Akoko in Akoko North West Local Government Area of the state said while declaring his ambition at a political gathering that “at this defining moment, the future of Akoko North West Constituency I demands unity, strength and purposeful leadership.

While soliciting for the support of the people, Ajibuwa said “the people must rally round us to secure credible representation and deliver meaningful progress”

He said as a proud son of Okeagbe Akoko, he combines proven leadership experience with a strong commitment to youth and community development driven by a clear vision for impactful and transformative governance.

“Ajibuwa stands as a strategic answer to the needs of the people. A leader shaped by grassroots realities and strengthened through institutional and national exposure,” he stated.

Speakers at the event described Ajibuwa as a sound mind who has the capacity to serve his constituency with vigour and strength.

“His leadership journey reflects consistency and growth: from President of the Okeagbe Students Union, where he championed students welfare, unity and responsible administration. His national experience as a member of the Nigerian Youth Parliament, representing Ondo North Senatorial district further sharpened his understanding of governance and policy engagement.

“His people first agenda is clear and intentional. Ajibuwa is committed to ensuring that no student in Akoko North West will have to travel long distances to write examinations. He has made it a priority that communities in the constituency must have functional ICT centres where students can conveniently register and sit for examinations like JAMB within their community,” he stated.
