A few Nigerian Afrobeat superstars have been nominated for the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The shortlist was announced on Friday evening.
Davido and Omah Lay made the cut for their collaboration on ‘With You’ for Best African Music Performance.
The category also includes nominations for ‘Love’ by Burna Boy and ‘Gimme Dat’ by Ayra Starr and Wizkid.
Burna Boy, who already owns a Grammy, has been nominated for Best Global Music Album with ‘No Sign of Weakness’.

- With You – Davido and Omah Lay
- Hope & Love – Eddy Kenzo & Mehran Matin
- Gimme Dat – Ayra Starr and Wizkid
