Two persons were feared dead in a lone accident that occurred around Balogun village in Ikire, Irewole local government of Osun State, on Friday.
It was gathered that the accident which involved a Hummer bus, occurred around 2 pm.
Findings showed that the bus with registration number Kogi DAH 77 LG was going to Lagos from Ekiti state.
An eyewitness told our correspondent that officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) arrived at the venue of the accident.
The remaining victims whose number could not be ascertained were said to have been taken to Catholic Hospital Oluyoro, Apomu, for treatment.
The spokesperson of the NSCDC, Adeleke Kehinde, confirmed the incident.
She said the state Commandant, Dr. Michael Adaralewa, had enjoined road users, especially motorists, to always obey traffic rules and regulations while driving to avoid loss of lives and property on our roads.
Adaralewa also advised them to desist from over-speeding, urging them not to drink alcohol while driving.
