No fewer than 19 people cheated death after they were injured in an auto crash, at Tyoor Tyu village, along Makurdi-Gboko road in Benue State.
Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC), Benue State Command, Steve Ayodele, said the crash involved two vehicles; a Ford and Toyota Hiace bus, at about 4pm, on Easter Sunday.
Ayodele said: “Nineteen people were injured in the crash out of 26 involved in the crash; nine male and 10 female. They (victims) sustained varying degrees of injuries,” he said.
The sector commander blamed the accident on wrong overtaking and cautioned drivers to be careful while driving.
