Titans Basketball team, Abuja and First Bank Basketball team of Lagos have both secured the bragging rights in this year’s Zenith Bank/Nigeria Basketball Federation Women Basketball League after emerging the winner of the Savannah and Atlantic Conference that was concluded over the weekend respectively.
Titans was the team to beat in the Savannah Conference leading teams like two former winners of the league, Air Warriors Basketball Team and Nigeria Customs Basketball Team to the top position.
The three teams will be joined by Royal Aces Basketball Team for the trip to Lagos as the four representatives from the Savannah Conference.

Record winner of the league, First Bank, left no one in doubt about their ambition of winning their 10th title as they demolished all the teams in the Atlantic Conference and will hope to make it count when they return to Lagos for the National final.
Defending champion, MFM Basketball Team, also secured their passage to the National Finals with Dolphins Basketball Team, Lagos and last season finalist, Bayelsa Blue Whales Basketball Team also making it from the Atlantic Conference.
The final is scheduled to take place between September 14 and 18 at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
