Hollywood actress Zendaya has addressed swirling rumours suggesting she secretly tied the knot with fellow actor Tom Holland, firmly debunking the claims and attributing the confusion to AI-generated images.

Speaking in an interview with TMZ, Zendaya said she was initially unaware of the viral speculation, noting how rapidly the false reports spread online.

“I haven’t seen any of that. To the point where… people make these AI wedding photos that look very realistic of you guys together,” she said.

According to her, the images were so convincing that fans and even people she met in real life believed they were authentic.

“Well, I was just out and about in real life. And people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real. That’s so crazy.’’

The actress added that the misinformation extended beyond social media, affecting people within her personal circle.

“Yes, many people [were fooled]. And mad that they weren’t invited?” she said humorously.

In a bid to clear the air, Zendaya shared a video during the interview where she wore a wedding gown and Tom Holland was fake, stressing that while some visuals circulating online were fake, this one was genuine but unrelated to any wedding.

“This is not something I’ve shared anywhere… This is first time sharing,” she explained.

She further clarified the distinction between manipulated and real footage:
“No, that was real. That was real. I was there,” she stated.

Her comments come amid rising concerns about the growing use of artificial intelligence to create highly realistic but misleading content, especially involving public figures.

With her latest clarification, Zendaya has effectively shut down rumours of any secret marriage to Holland, confirming that the viral wedding images are entirely fabricated.
