Governor Abdul’Aziz Yari Abubakar, on Zamfara State, has signed into law the 2018 proposed budget of N133 billion.
Signing the budget at Government House, Gusau, Governor Yari promised the full implementation of the policies contained in the proposed budget.
The governor said administration would boost the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to enable the state achieve it potentials.
Earlier, the Speaker of the state’s House of Assembly, Alhaji Sanusi Garba Rikiji, said after careful scrutiny of the budget presented before the House, N3 billion was added to it in consideration of expected ecological funds payment to states by the Federal Government.
