Tito Group of Companies has feted residents of Makurdi metropolis with its new product as it kick-start the Yuletide season with light-up activities in Benue State.
The firm launched a new dairy product, Tito Yoghurt Parfait, as it lights the Christmas season to herald the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Chief Executive Officer/President of Tito group, Chief Isaac Akinkunmi, while performing the ceremony, noted that it was part of the company’s social responsibility to its host community.
He said the Christmas season which comes with a lot of fanfare is a season when friends and relations from far and near visit to enjoy together and it was wise for them (Tito) to create an opportunity for families to enjoy themselves.
“At Tito, we feel we should give people the taste of our products, especially the Tito Parfait we just launched into the Tito Yoghurt products. Christmas comes with brightness so we have taken our time to spend millions as you can see to brighten up the place, light up our environment and the state capital in general.
“We want people to have the feel of what the Christmas season celebrated worldwide is like and we want to be in the Christmas mood. All over the country, at this point in time, people are eagerly looking forward to Christmas. We found that people love Tito dairy products and by extension, they love Tito food products equally. So, this year, we thought of bringing in the Tito Yoghurt Parfait. It’s Tito Yoghurt probiotics combined with various types of nuts and fruits that when you mix with yoghurt gives you an exciting taste.”
Akinkunmi added that the renowned Tito Group would continue to showcase innovation in the interest of its consumers. The event saw residents of Makurdi metropolis being treated to free yoghurts drinks to mark the beginning of the Christmas season.
