Yuletide: Diri gives Civil Servants six-day break

Bayelsa State governor, Senator Douye Diri has approved a six-day holiday for Civil servants in the state to celebrate the Yuletide season with their families.

The Commissioner for Information, Orientation, and Strategy, Mrs. Ebiuwou Koku- Obiyai in a statement that contained the governor’s approval said the break would commence on December 24th and end on December 30th.

Obiyai however noted that essential service workers are exempted from the break and are expected to resume work.

‘’ The Governor expresses heartfelt appreciation to all residents for their continued support and wishes everyone a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year,’’ she noted.
