The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has extended warm Christmas greetings to Nigerian Christians and wished all Nigerians a happy and prosperous New Year in 2026.

In a statement, ACF’s National Publicity Secretary, Prof. Tukur Muhammad-Baba, acknowledged the economic and social challenges facing many families, particularly in Northern Nigeria, and prayed for God’s grace and mercy to prevail.

ACF urged Nigerians to come together, transcending faith and political differences, to pray for peace, prosperity, and progress.

The forum also prayed for Nigerian leaders to be endowed with wisdom, empathy, and love, and for security agencies to be strengthened in their fight against terrorism and insecurity.

“ACF prays that Nigerian leaders, temporal and spiritual, at all levels and indeed the citizens be endowed with the needed wisdom of empathy and love, truth and honesty, faith and righteousness in service to the people and our dear nation,” the statement read.

ACF expressed hope that 2026 would usher in a more resilient and hospitable Nigeria, benefiting all citizens regardless of ethnicity, faith, or social status.
