Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has harped on the importance of communication in marriage, warning men against keeping malice with their wives.

Edochie’s advice followed a revelation by media personality, Frank Edoho that his method of expressing displeasure with his wife was to keep malice.

Edoho and his ex-wife, Sandra, have been involved in a public spat amid claims of infidelity and domestic violence.

Edochie appeared to weigh into the matter in a Facebook post on Friday.

He said, “Men, don’t keep malice with your wife. You’re the head of your home.

“No matter what your wife does to you, have a one on one conversation with her about it, tell her your mind and iron things out.

“It might be her fault or she could be reacting to something you did to her.

“You can only find out when you communicate.

“Weak men avoid difficult conversations.
Real men discuss issues no matter how tough they are.

“Communication is highly essential in marriage.”

Edochie has also experienced marital challenges.

His first marriage to May Edochie ultimately collapsed after he took actress Judy Austin as a second wife in 2022.

May filed for divorce and for full custody of their children.

While Yul and Judy have faced subsequent separation rumors, they remain together.
