Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) has congratulated the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on his 71st birthday.
In a statement signed by the federation’s president, who also doubles as Deputy Governor of the state, Dr. Nasiru Gawuna, the federation expressed gratitude to God that he is celebrating his birthday in good health even as it noted with happiness his numerous contributions to YSFON programmes and grassroots sports development in the country.
“We want to say a very big congratulation to Gov. Ganduje as he added another year today. We’re particularly happy that he clocked 71 years in good health, which is worth appreciating Almighty Allah for his mercies towards him.

“We’re equally delighted to be associated with him for his numerous contributions towards YSFON programmes, most especially his continuous sponsorship of the annual Ramat Cup and grassroots sports development in the country not forgetting his various development projects in Kano State,” the statement said.
The federation prayed that the Almighty God would continue to bless him with good health, strength and wisdom to continue the good work he is doing in his state, which has been acknowledged by all.
