Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) has commesurated with his immediate family and the Sports Writers of Nigeria (SWAN) over the death of one of its member, Mike Oboh.
Oboh, a veteran sports journalist died two days ago after a protracted illness.
In a statement signed by YSFON’s National Secretary, Patrick Okpavuerhe, the body described the late Oboh as a committed journalist and a friend of YSFON who is always interested in reporting its activities anywhere in the country.
“The news of Oboh’s death came to us as a big shock and the legacies he left behind in his chosen profession will be difficult to fill even as he said the Federation will miss his services.
The statement while praying God Almighty to grant his soul eternal rest also prayed that God will give his family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
