Yobe: NYSC commends NMA for providing essential drugs in camp

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has commended Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Yobe chapter, and the state’s Ministry of Health for providing essential drugs and mosquito nets in orientation camp for corps members.

The Coordinator of the Corps in Yobe, Mrs Grace Adzer, made the commendation on Friday when NMA
members in the state paid a courtesy visit to the NYSC temporary orientation camp in Potiskum.

She said “the synergy among NMA, state Ministry of Health and NYSC is one that I always cherish.”

Adzer called for sustainability of the good gesture, and urged the association to assist in providing resources for organising the NYSC health initiative for rural dwellers.

The NMA Chairman in Yobe, Dr Babagana Mustapha, said that the purpose of the visit was to welcome, interact and encourage the Corps Medical personnel deployed to the state.
