He admitted that the party members and leaders were responsible for the current state but assured that PDP will overcome its challenges.
Waziri also cleared the air of the rumour of his defection from the PDP to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), insisting that he remains in PDP.
“I am very, very much involved in the coalition and merger talks between the PDP members and other members of other political parties,” he disclosed.
He confirmed that PDP is In major talks with elements from both the party, APC and the Labor Party.
“There are elements of other opposition parties that are in Nigeria all trying to come together to build a strong political platform that will be able to deliver its candidates so that the terrible misrule of the APC is addressed,” he added.
