London-based Nigerian property entrepreneur Yemi Edun has been named on the 2027 Powerlist for the seventh consecutive year.
He has also been named a finalist for the 2026 PwC Purpose Award at the Celebration of Black Excellence (COBE) Awards.
The Powerlist features 100 influential people of African, African Caribbean and African American heritage in the United Kingdom. It recognises individuals for their professional achievements, leadership and contributions to society.
Edun’s latest selection comes amid his involvement in philanthropic activities, including initiatives supporting people with mobility challenges.
Speaking on the recognition, Edun said he was grateful to have been included on the list again, adding that the acknowledgement of his charitable work was particularly meaningful to him.
“I am genuinely honoured to be selected for the Powerlist for the seventh consecutive year. I do not take this recognition for granted,” he said.

He added that his nomination for the PwC Purpose Award was significant because it drew attention to efforts to provide mobility assistance to people in need.
“The wheelchair initiative in memory of my late mother is especially close to my heart,” he said.
Edun established A.C.E, a philanthropic initiative, in 2020. Its activities cover mobility assistance, education, the arts and sport, according to the statement announcing his recognition.
He is also the founder of Daniel Ford International, a London-based property advisory business that assists clients, including international investors, with property acquisition and management.
The 2027 edition will be the 21st edition of the Powerlist. Edun’s recognition is scheduled to be marked at the COBE Awards on October 30, 2026, at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in Mayfair, London.
