Blames defection of opposition figures on his achievements

The former governor of Zamfara State, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, has admonished Nigerians against listening to lies, propaganda and deliberate distortions against President Bola Tinubu or his government by the opposition contesting against him.
He also blamed the recent defections of opposition political figures on President Tinubu’s verifiable and laudable achievements.
Yari equally appealed to opposition figures in the country to bury their anger and open their eyes to see his several achievements in every sector.
He spoke to newsmen during the ongoing APC National Convention through Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, the technical committee leader of his political group, the Renewed Hope Network (TRN).
Ogenyi said the group led thousands of Nigerian supporters of President Tinubu to the National Convention to show support and appreciate the several achievements he has recorded.
He appreciated the founder of the group, Senator Yari, who thought it wise to initiate the network group to propagate the achievements of the President and his commitment to the people of Nigeria.
Comrade Ogenyi said that TRN will continue to mobilise at the grassroots in sensitising Nigerians to the implementation of the Renewed Hope mandate for the betterment of all.
“We call on opposition figures and those who feel aggrieved as a result of the ongoing re-engineering and rebuilding of Nigeria by the President Tinubu-led government to berry their anger, open their eyes to see the benefits of the ongoing reforms of this administration, as we believe no one can see clearly if eyes are closed.

“As our nation Nigeria prepares for another election in 2027, we also admonish Nigerians not to listen to lies, propaganda and deliberate distortions against the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu or his government.
“We are using this medium to alert Nigerians that spin doctors, propagandists and blackmailers are being hired by the opposition figures to do their deity jobs but we believe that the will of the people will always prevail because we are in majority,” he said.
On why many governors and prominent politicians are joining APC, Ogenyi said: “APC is indeed in the right direction with thirty-two (32) state governors in the party. It is in appreciation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that serving governors and top politicians across Nigeria are trooping to APC because Asiwaju has redefined governance and party administration.”
Enumerating some of the achievements of Tinubu, he said, “President Tinubu has weakened terrorism, solved the problem of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) that was bedevilled the nation for several years.
“Today, Nigerian students no longer drop out of school as a result of strike or financial difficulty. President Tinubu has resolved the funding crises for the less privileged students through Nigeria Education Loan Funds (Nelfund).
“His regime has made petroleum products available and at the highest quality, and no one is sleeping at filling stations as it used to be.
“It is no longer news that inflation has been subdued by the Tinubu-led federal government, from 34% to 15%, foreign reserves have increased to 48.5 billion dollars, foreign loans are being paid off on a daily basis, Nigerians in the diaspora are returning home and our economy is fast growing.
“We as members of the Renewed Hope Network (TRN), under the national leadership of Senator Abdulaziz Yari, are set to mobilise Nigerians in support of Tinubu’s administration,” he said.
