Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has approved the appointment of Abdullahi Aliyu Yar’Adua as Executive Director, the Katsina State Library Board.
A statement signed by Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Idris Usman Tune, quoted Masari as saying that, “the appointment was based on the conviction that the new Executive Director will serve faithfully, diligently and in the best interest of the Service.”
The statement noted that the appointment is with immediate effect.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Muntari Lawal, described Yar’Adua’s appointment as a demonstration of his hardwork and honesty.
Until his appointment, Yar’Adua was Director of Press, attached to the office of the SSG at the Government House.
Yar’Adua is a graduate of English Language from Al-Qalam University, Katsina, and also holds an M.A degree in English Literature from Bayero University, Kano.
