Alhaji Muktar Galadima, a PDP aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency, has expressed confidence in the leadership of the party at both state and national levels.

Galadima made the declaration at the PDP State Secretariat on Thursday while submitting his nomination and expression of interest form for the contest for the Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency in Taraba.

He also expressed appreciation to the PDP leadership for clearing him to participate in the contest.

He also acknowledged his constituents for urging him to seek the office.

He said that the contest had exposed him to different experiences in life, adding that he perceived challenges as instruments of triumph.

“I am grateful to the party for providing me with a platform to contest for the House of Representatives seat.

” I want to acknowledge the people of Wukari and Ibi who have called on me to represent them.

“My commitment is to serve with humanity and with the fear of God,” he said.

Galadima, a town planner and former director in the FCDA, dismissed the impression that the PDP in Taraba was in crisis.

According to him, no factional crisis exists within the Taraba State chapter of the PDP.

He also expressed confidence in the leadership of the party, saying that he was ready for any mode of primaries the party may decide on in the process.

“Whether through primaries or consensus, the matter should be determined by the party’s stakeholders.

“I will abide by whatever decision the party leadership and stakeholders reach,” he stated.

The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that Galadima had earlier picked his nomination and expression of interest form for the PDP’s House of Representatives seat for the Wukari and Ibi Federal Constituency in Taraba.
