Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy has been announced as part of the line-up of performers at the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show.
The Grammy Award-winning artiste joins co-headliners Shakira, Madonna, Justin Bieber, and BTS at the historic event at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 19, 2026.
Curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, the 11-minute performance also features Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the PS22 Chorus (a choir of elementary school students from Staten Island, New York), and Coldplay themselves.
Burna Boy collaborated with Shakira for the 2026 FIFA World Cup official song ‘Dai Dai’, released on May 15, 2026.
