World Cup: All countries that have qualified for intercontinental playoffs revealed

The six teams that will play in the 2026 World Cup intercontinental playoffs are now confirmed.

Bolivia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Jamaica, New Caledonia, and Suriname.

They will all participate in a mini-tournament that will take place in Mexico in March 2026.

By the end of Tuesday night, 42 countries had automatically qualified for next year’s tournament.

The remaining six spots will be filled by the UEFA and inter-confederation playoffs in March.

The European play-off draw will take place on Thursday, November 20, at FIFA headquarters.

Confirmed in play-offs as European Qualifiers group runners-up: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Denmark, Italy, Kosovo, Poland, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Türkiye, Ukraine, Wales.

Confirmed in play-offs via Nations League route: Romania, Sweden, Northern Ireland, North Macedonia.
