World Cup: 32 countries that have qualified for tournament revealed

Thirty-two (32) countries have qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Norway became the latest team to qualify for the World Cup after defeating Italy 4-1 on Sunday night.

Erling Haaland of Manchester City scored a brace to help Norway overcome Italy.

Antonio Nusa and Jørgen Strand Larsen also scored for Norway during the encounter at San Siro.

The likes of the USA, Mexico and Canada were allocated automatic slots as host nations.

Here are the 32 countries that have qualified for the 2026 World Cup:

Host nations: The United States, Canada and Mexico.

Asia: Uzbekistan, Australia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and South Korea.

Africa: Algeria, Cape Verde, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa and Tunisia

Europe: Norway, France, Portugal, Croatia and England.

Oceania: New Zealand.

South America: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Uruguay.
