Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has identified the country he hopes France will avoid in the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
France secured a place in the semi-finals after defeating Morocco 2-0 on Thursday night.
Les Bleus will now take on the winner of the quarter-final clash between Spain and Belgium for a spot in the World Cup final.
Speaking on ITV after France defeated Morocco, Vieira said he doesn’t want his country to face England in the final, adding that he prefers Argentina.

Interesting, it was Argentina who defeated France in the final of the last edition of the World Cup.
“I know that we’re not at the final yet, but I don’t want France to face England in the final,” Vieira said.
“I would prefer France to play Argentina,” he added.
