Women Africa dissociates its organisation from tampered website

Women Rights Advocates and renowned International Non Governmental Organisation, Women Africa International has dissociated its organisation from the tampered website of the organisation with funny contents https://womanafricaintl.org/kc-section/team/.

In a statement signed by the President of the group Rev. Ijeoma Emeribe, the group calls on the general public to disregard the said website until investigation is complete.

“We frown at this infringement on our intellectual property and the multiple use of the name of our founders for some strange photos and it is unacceptable to the interest we represent.

“We are asking these critical question, what is the interest of the creators of the site? why would they use the name of our organisation, the name of our founder against strange photos these are not in consistence with the ideologies we stand for and we condemn it.

“We have good reasons to suspect one Michael Glory who we earlier contracted to build the website for us and has refused to hand over the password to the site to us even after we had completed payment for the job he did for us and we calling on the security agencies to investigate this matter to know his role.

“We call on the general public to disregard the information on the website until investigation on the subject matter is concluded with an aim to unravel the origin of these misinformation and desperate attempt to smear the integrity of our organisation and its founder,” the statement read.
