A yet-to-be-identified woman has died after jumping into the lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State.
Daily Sun gathered that the incident occurred around 4pm on Thursday.
The unidentified woman was said to have jumped from the bridge into the water opposite the University of Lagos waterfront.

It was learnt that a team of Marine Police around the UNILAG waterfront recovered the woman’s body.
Upon recovery, a team of medical doctors, in the presence of policemen from the Sabo Division, assessed the woman and pronounced her dead.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos State, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident.
Hundeyin said the body has been evacuated to the mortuary of the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Yaba, Lagos.
