Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, has been named Africa’s biggest earner on Spotify.
Wizkid’s dominance was announced by Chart Masters, a music statistics monitoring platform, revealing that the singer’s earnings on Spotify amounted to $1 million.
With the exception of South Africa’s Tyla, the list of Africa’s top earners is dominated by Nigerian artists.
