Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Wizkid, has slammed his senior colleague, 2Baba, for placing Burna Boy ahead of him on the global stage.
2Baba expressed his thoughts on the popular ‘Big 3’ – Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, who are regarded as Nigeria’s most prominent worldwide musical exports.
In response to questions regarding which of the three musicians reigns supreme in the music industry, 2Baba proclaimed Burna Boy the number one Nigerian talent “on the global stage”.

However, reacting to 2Baba’s opinion, Wizkid, in a post on Snapchat, described him as an old man.
While telling 2Baba to make peace with his family first instead of sharing opinions about music, Wizkid stated, “I’m never letting it slack in 2026.”
“At least make peace with your family first before having opinions about music. Old man,” he added.
