Adhering to its slogan, ‘Stop At Nothing’ while giving its customers the highest possible level of satisfaction, Tecno brought Afropop diva, Tiwa Savage to Art Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on August 16, 2022 to unveil its artistic Camon 19 Mondrian Edition.
Tecno is not just a purveyor of smart phones; it is also a brand that takes innovative heights in the creative sectors such as fashion and art into technology.
This precisely was witnessed at the launch of Tecno Camon 19 Mondrian edition at Art Hotel in Lagos, in partnership with the African Artists Foundation (AAF), which oversees the artistic communities in Nigeria.
The event, which had several high-profile personalities from the tech, music, art, fashion, and entertainment industries in attendance, focused on the brand theme: ‘Tech meets Art’. However, the major highlight of the evening was when Luke Pan, Tecno’s brand manager and brand ambassador, Tiwa Savage, unveiled the artistic Camon 19 Mondrian edition.
The music star led the audience on a thrilling journey to experience the exciting and innovative features of the newly launched device whose back changes colour to a Mondrian theme when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light or sunlight. Indeed, this unique feature was the reason why Tecno named the series Mondrian Edition.
Guests who attended the event were impressed by the artwork provided by the African Artists Foundation (AAF). There were also those at the sip and paint stand that did their Mondrian inspired art. Luke Pan said: “The Camon 19 Mondrian launch indicates that Tecno will continue to create consumer-centric products and set the pace for other smartphone brands. With the super night mode camera and quad flashlight, users can create superior videos without worrying about blurred backgrounds or dull colours.”
