The Akachi Ezeigbo Literature Prize Competition has climaxed with the announcement of four winners for the 2024 edition.
The Children Literature Category was won by The Invincible Will, while the Drama Category was won by Verdict of the God’s. The Akachi Prize for Fiction was won by The Deflated Balloon, while the Akachi Prize for Poetry was won by Notes from my Heart.
“This marks a significant milestone for us and demonstrates our commitment to harness literary works,” said the organisers in a press statement signed by the director of the AEPL.
The organisers stated further: “We celebrate along with the voters of the nominated books, and we deeply appreciate your co-operation and participation in bringing home this award,” adding, “All winners will be contacted.”
