Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, is set to deliver the prestigious Distinguished Personality Lecture at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, today.
He will address the audience on the theme “Nigeria of our dreams” at the event scheduled to hold at Oduduwa Hall. The invitation was officially extended in a letter dated April 14, 2025 by Mr. K. A. Bakare, OAU Registrar and Secretary to Council.
In the letter, the university highlighted the significance of the lecture as a platform to engage accomplished leaders and eminent personalities whose contributions to public service and national development are widely recognized and valued.

The Council and Management of OAU unanimously chose Minister Wike in recognition of his distinguished career marked by good administration, governance, infrastructural development, and steadfast commitment to the rule of law.
