Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on Monday expressed shock on the death of the renowned televangelist and founder of Synagogue of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Joshua.

Okowa described his death of the consummate preacher as a huge loss to the Christian community in Nigeria and across the world.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Olisa Ifeajika, the governor commiserated with the Joshua family, members of SCOAN and the people and Government of Ondo State.

He said the deceased would be sorely missed for his humble teachings, meekness and wise counsels, and particularly for his good heart and grandiose philanthropy to the needy and humanity.

The governor urged the family and the church to be consoled by the virtues of humility, service to humanity and sound biblical teachings that TB Joshua espoused, working in the Lord’s vineyard until his final call.
