Reasons have emerged why BBNaija Season 7 winner, Phyna, deactivated her Instagram account following the tragic death of her younger sister, Ruth Otabor.
Ruth died on August 31 after being hit by a truck near Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State. The accident, which happened on August 13, left her with severe multiple injuries and a leg amputation.
Phyna’s Instagram handle had disappeared on September 2, leaving her fans confused.

Sources close to the BBNaija star revealed that she took measures to maintain her privacy while grieving the passing of her sister.
“She was broken by the unfortunate incident and needed to step back for a while,” a source said.
Her decision sparked conversations about the pressure celebrities face to remain active online, even in times of grief.
