Nollywood actor cum producer, Chigozie Atuanya, is basking in the euphoria of his new chieftaincy title, which was bestowed on him on December 28, 2017.
Speaking during the coronation, which took place at the palace of Igwe JN Gwuye, of Ugwoba, Anambra State, Atuanya revealed that he was indeed excited to bag his first ever chieftaincy title.
“I never saw this coming. When I was informed, I was so skeptical whether to grab it or not. But friends encouraged me to accept the honour. Igwe JN Gwuye decided to honour me for my tremendous efforts in promoting Igbo language home and abroad. The movie, Chetanna made history in the United States and Anambra State. I’ll keep doing my best to uphold the culture and tradition of my people,” he said.
