The member representing the Uke/Karshi constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Musa Gude, has justified the appointment of 106 aides.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Gude, who is a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), said he appointed the aforementioned number of aides to assist in “serving his constituents”.
Speaking in an interview in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa, on Tuesday, the lawmaker stated that the appointments aim not only to enhance service delivery but also to improve the living standards of the aides and their families.

“I want to disclose that I have 106 aides on my payroll, including special and personal assistants. Some of them receive N100,000, N80,000, N50,000, N30,000, N20,000, and N10,000, respectively,” Gude siad.
Gude disclosed that the appointment is part of his commitment to inclusive leadership and socioeconomic empowerment within his constituency.
