The Federal Government has been charged to do whatever it takes to protect Nigerians living abroad.

Reacting to the recent video of Nigerians in Dubai crying for help that they want to come home,  Immigration Lawyer, Travel Consultant, and Lead Consultant Ample Life Global Links,  Janet Alonge, at a briefing in Lagos said

anywhere Nigerians live the government should be concerned and protect the interest of their citizens.

Speaking on why the country is experiencing human flight on a daily basis, Alonge said: ”As a professional on the field I would say that seeking opportunities abroad is not bad, but I can tell you that better opportunities also abound here in Nigeria. But the challenges we are facing in terms of unemployment, insecurity, poor power supply are enough for people to want to leave the country.

There is no enough assistance from the government and this affects businesses, making it difficult for people to excel in their field. That is why people seek greener pastures. It’s not only Nigerians that do this. Seeking for greener pastures outside the country is okay if it is done legally,” she said Alonge.
