When you don’t understand

talking

Anytime someone or something doesn’t make sense to you, do everything within your power to ensure that your reaction is not senseless. Please, mark that down somewhere so you never forget. Even if that person or thing is nonsense, your response or you must make sense. One, because two wrongs never make a right and, two, because you are light; you are supposed to be light -especially in the face of darkness.

You may go back and read the whole of the foregoing again, and over and over. Darkness has tended to multiply on earth because carriers of light are somewhat angered by or envious of both the empty victories of darkness as well as the fact that its purveyors always seem to get away with their innumerable abominable acts of impunity. So, like play, like play, children of light cross the line -too frequently- to help spread hate and sundry forms of callousness, which are the very hallmarks of darkness. Please, sit quietly as I break that down.

Darkness might be called legion but side by side with light, its children are only a tiny minority. In fact, they are an infinitesimal ragtag. Darkness remains in existence because the absolute majority -the billions who people the kingdom of light- have little or no understanding of their immense power or authority. So, in that ignorance, the majority help the minority not only to continue existing but also to multiply.

You know, if those who claim to belong to light simply woke up today to vow that nothing darkness does -going forward- would ever provoke them enough to react like darkness, darkness shall disappear instantly -forever. To get there though, lightbearers must first seek to achieve and internalise what I call the revelation knowledge of understanding. Yesterday, during the second service at Power City International, No. 98, Nwaniba Road, Uyo-Nigeria, my spiritual father, Global Ba’aba, Dr Abel Damina, gave an analogy that blew my mind. He was actually quoting what his wife, Dr Rachel, had pointed out to him while they were both watching United States of America Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, saunter into and out of Israel and Palestine for talks over the senselessness in Gaza.

Maama Damina wondered why children of light don’t exhibit the Blinken confidence when they know whose they are. To be sure, the businesslikeness and surefootedness exhibited by every representative of the government of the USA even in the most troubled spots of the world should be emulated by those who know their Source or who know what authority is behind them. President Barack Obama -as he then was- in the heady days of Osama bin Laden told a journalist who had asked him why he was hardly afraid that he had something (secret service) which terrorists hadn’t and still haven’t. From that day, and I am thankful to Global Ba’aba and Maama for the reminder yesterday, I have always encouraged myself to never forget that because I am of light darkness is nothing for me to lose sleep.

You too should be like that -if light knows you. Get the revelation knowledge of understanding. Stop being afraid of what or who is afraid of you. When you don’t understand someone or something, the best thing to do is either ask questions or ignore.

When someone says or does something that you don’t understand, your best response in the circumstance is nothing; keep mum. Just as light has no business throwing its hat into the ring to prove a point to darkness, wisdom must never copy from darkness just to teach it a lesson. Firing back unreasonably at someone for something you considered unreasonable neither creates reason nor shows reasonability. However, at what point should light stand up to darkness?

That’s a critical question. Light should never stand up to darkness. That’s a vexed answer. To decode that, get the revelation knowledge of understanding.

Why should light, in all its brightness, descend so low (read dim so badly) as to get into a tango with darkness that was defeated 2,023 years ago? Light must always be cautious and mindful, per time, in order to never permit or generate rubbish. Cats might look like small lions or might indeed be descendants (whatever that means) of tigers, lions, etc.) but no cat -no matter how big- will wait when a tiger or a lion is in the neighbourhood. The tigritude of light is a constant, a given, a foregone conclusion -and even darkness knows that.

Let’s break away momentarily so I share with you some interesting pieces of information I picked up online. One: “Cats are colloquially named animals that belong to the family of Felidae. Members of this family are called felid or feline. The Felidae can be further categorised into Pantherine, which include the majority of big cats such as Tigers, Lions, Jaguar and so on”.

Two: “The line that separates day (call it light) and night (technically, darkness) is called the terminator. It is also referred to as the “grey line” and the “twilight zone”. It is a fuzzy line due to our atmosphere bending sunlight. In fact, the atmosphere bends sunlight by half a degree, which is about 37 miles (60 km)”.

As already enunciated and in spite of both quotations, the cat and darkness know that their place is down, below and under. A tiger or lion doesn’t need to remind the cat of anything. Ditto, light: it should never exchange words with darkness because although it might all seem physical but all these things are spiritual -in and out. Light should never forget that its anti-darkness weapons are not carnal but mighty through -you know who.

When children of light don’t understand or are in doubt over something thrown up by an agent or two of darkness, they should keep quiet, retreat mentally for a minute or two, engage the secret weapon that confuses even the master of darkness and thereafter watch and enjoy victory. The battle belongs to the One who has never lost and who shall never lose. The greatest consolation is that every battle brought by darkness against light has already been won. As it was in the beginning, so it is now, so it shall forever be: Amen!

God bless Nigeria!
