The All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the Ogun Central Senatorial District seat, Muraina Banjoko, has disclosed that he will focus on massive empowerment of the constituents and ensure developmental representation if he is elected as a senator in 2027.
Banjoko, popularly known as ‘Threeco’, stated this on Thursday during a meeting with party stalwarts held in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
He informed the gathering that his intention to contest for the Ogun Central Senatorial District seat in the 2027 general election is to ensure that Ogun Central witnesses a more robust socioeconomic development and empowered constituents.
Speaking further on his vision, he emphasised that empowering people remains the core foundation of his manifesto, stressing that his initiatives will strengthen youth and women, giving them tools to thrive in business, education, and leadership.

“True representation and progress mean ensuring that every community feels the impact of federal government interventions. Our people deserve tangible results, and I am ready to complement the executive arm to bring real opportunities to Ogun Central.
“Aside from my primary responsibility of lawmaking and oversight, much of my personal and constituency initiatives will focus on building people as much as building structures,” he assured.
The senatorial hopeful used the event to appreciate party leaders on the peaceful conduct of the recent party congresses, saying, “I salute the apex leaders from the state down to the ward level, who ensured a rancour-free Ward and local government congresses.”
“I enjoin every member of our great party to continue to put the interest of the party and the good people of Ogun State first; delivering the electoral victory to the party is a collective task that must be done, come 2027,” Banjoko submitted.
