Nigerian media entrepreneur and politician Dele Momodu has warned that Nigeria risks returning to the turbulent days of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) era if current political and governance trends continue unchecked.

He made the statement during an interview on Arise News, highlighting a “very quiet peaceful revolution” brewing in the country, stressing that mismanagement could escalate tensions.

“At the rate we are going, we will soon be back to the NADECO days, I guarantee you that… a very quiet, peaceful revolution is brewing in Nigeria. If it is mismanaged…,” he stated.

Momodu appealed to Tinubu, noting that those in power are often surrounded by advisers who shield them from reality.

“Please, my mission is to appeal to President Tinubu because most leaders, when they are in power, no one tells them the truth; people tell them all is well.”
