All Progressives Congress (APC) has said it is working hard to ensure that the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu, will win all the votes that would be cast by the 18.3million voters in the South West.
The party’s National Vice Chairman, South West, Isaacs Kekemeke, said this on Thursday after a strategy meeting held at its Lagos State secretariat.
Addressing the press at the end of the meeting, Kekemeke, said the party is working very hard especially at the grassroots to ensure that every South West vote goes to Tinubu.
He said among the three major presidential candidates, Tinubu is the most qualified and popular, insisting that he is what Nigeria needs at the moment.
“We would ensure that that every vote from the 18.3million registered voters in the South West goes to Tinubu and we are working hard to moblise voters even at the grassroots.
“We are very confident that our candidate will win the election because among the major candidates, he is the most competent and qualified,” he said.
Speaking on the disaffection from some members of the party, Kekemeke, said the APC is a party with nine lives as many thought the party would implode after the convention but were disappointed when it didn’t.
“We are ensuring we tie up every loose end and get everyone on board. We have a way of resolving our issues, so that is not a problem. People thought that after our convention, we would implode but we are still standing and moving forward ,” he said.
