HoganHost has been named Web Hosting Company of the Year in the People’s Choice category at the 6th Eko Heritage Awards held in Lagos, as the company continues to expand its operations across Africa.
The award was presented during the ceremony at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, where individuals, brands and organisations were recognised for contributions to technology, business, entrepreneurship and the creative industry.
HoganHost emerged ahead of QServers and Harmon Web in the People’s Choice category.
Speaking after receiving the award, the company’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Efiok Hogan, thanked customers, partners and employees for their support, saying the recognition reflected the confidence reposed in the company.
The recognition comes months after HoganHost acquired ZuumHost, a Nigerian web hosting provider and accredited .ng domain registrar.
Following the acquisition, ZuumHost retained its brand identity and continues to operate independently. Joseph Efiok Hogan was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ZuumHost, while HoganHost Co-founder, Atim Hogan, became Vice Chairman.
The company has also expanded its operations by securing additional international domain accreditations, increasing the range of country-specific and global domain extensions available to customers.
HoganHost provides web hosting, cloud hosting, domain registration, dedicated servers and enterprise infrastructure services to businesses and organisations across several African markets.
