The National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has alleged that the 2027 general election is already being positioned for rigging, insisting that his party will continue to raise concerns ahead of the polls.
Abdullahi made the statement on Friday while speaking on Morning Brief, a programme on Channels Television, where he warned that the opposition would not remain silent over what he described as troubling signals within the political space.
“The election of 2027 is all set to be rigged, and we will not stop saying that. We are not giving up. We have a voice, and we will use it,” he said.

The ADC spokesman further alleged that the APC-led government are worried and agitated at the opposition and would rather nobody challenge their decision.
“ What you see about this APC government is that they seem to be irritated, that there is opposition at all, they seem to feel like, who are these people asking us questions. They would rather we don’t speak at all, they work rather nobody ask questions,” he added.
Speaking about the new election timetable, he maintained that it is all part of the game plan, insisting they are not going to give up.
