Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that his country’s attacks on Israel would stop if the opposing nation halts its aggression against Iran.
Iranian state media outlet SNN reports that Iran fired “a last round of missiles” towards Israel before a ceasefire comes into effect.
According to Israel, at least three persons were killed in Iranian attacks on Tuesday morning following President Donald Trump’s announcement that the two countries had agreed to a “complete and total ceasefire.”
Speaking via X, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that there was no agreement on any ceasefire.
“As of now, there is NO ‘agreement’ on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations.
“However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards,” he penned.
“The final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be made later,” Araghchi added.
