Waterlight Save Initiative has started the campaign to feed and support homeless veterans in Atlanta Georgia, United States of America.

According to the president and founder of the initiative. Dr Ero Ibhafidon, the motivation aligns with the organisation’s broader mission of alleviating poverty, improving quality of life and fostering social interventions.

He said veterans are often faced with various challenges ranging from homelessness to unemployment and inadequate healthcare after their service.

He noted that in supporting homeless veterans, the organisation would provide safe housing, health care and economic opportunities

“Under safe housing, we will ensure that veterans have access to stable and secure shelter.

“Under improved healthcare access, we will address physical and mental health challenges, including PTSD and substance abuse recovery.

“Under enhancing economic opportunities, we will connect veterans with job opportunities, skill development, and entrepreneurship programmes.

“And under advocate for policy change, we will partner with government agencies and organisations to create sustainable solutions for veterans.

“This initiative reaffirms the organisation’s commitment to giving back to those who have bravely served the nation.

“The organisation’s deepest gratitude goes to  dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors and committed partners for making this event possible. Your support has helped us provide food, clothing, medical care and housing assistance to those in need,” he stated.

Also present was the head of Veteran Affairs, Bill Hughes and the Veteran Affairs team members.
