Cameroon defeated Malawi 3-0 in the final of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Sunday to claim their first-ever continental title.
The Indomitable Lionesses dominated the match in Rabat, Morocco, with all three goals coming in the first half.
Cameroon’s commanding performance proved too much for tournament debutants Malawi, who were unable to find a response as the Lionesses secured a historic WAFCON triumph.
Marie Ngah Manga opened the scoring before Naomi Eto made it 2-0 with a superb swivelling finish.
