Deborah Abiodun and Gift Monday have arrived at the Super Falcons’ Marriott Hotel camp in Casablanca ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Their arrival means head coach Justine Madugu now has his full 25-player squad in camp as preparations intensify for the continental tournament.
Abiodun and Monday were initially expected to join the team on Tuesday, but their trip from the United States was delayed after their scheduled flight was cancelled. Their arrival completes the squad ahead of the Super Falcons’ campaign in Morocco.
They missed the Super Falcons 2-1 friendly victory over the Twiga Stars of Tanzania on Friday night.
Abiodun was part of the Super Falcons’ squad to the WAFCON 2024 finals, while Monday failed to make the cut.
The Super Falcons will travel to Rabat, venue of their group stage matches on Friday.
