WACOT Limited, has unveiled Dragon Super, an advanced herbicide poised to redefine weed management for farmers across the country.
Dragon Super is a testament to WACOT Limited’s commitment to agricultural innovation and crop protection. This non-selective, post-emergence broad-spectrum herbicide is engineered to control annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds. Its introduction addresses a crucial pain point for farmers, offering many benefits that promise to revolutionize farming practices in Nigeria.
The major benefit of the product is the enhanced duration of weed control. Dragon Super provides an extended period of weed control, effectively eliminating weeds for up to 30 days after application. This prolonged efficacy ensures a sustained weed-free environment, enabling farmers to concentrate on crop cultivation.
The Director of the Agri-Inputs Division at WACOT Limited, Murari Sharma, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch. He said, “This product embodies our commitment to providing practical, effective solutions to the challenges faced by farmers. The company also highlighted that the product is highly economical, as it requires only half the dosage applied when using traditional herbicides. This offer significant cost savings to farmers, and will no doubt impact the cost of agricultural operations for both the farmer and the consumer.
Notably, the herbicide disrupts weed regeneration, ensuring a proactive approach to weed management, and further prevents proactive weed regeneration. Farmers can secure consistent and predictable crop yields by preventing weed resurgence and bolstering their agricultural endeavours.
One of WACOT’s major distributor, Chairman, Fountain of Joy Agro-Chemicals Nigeria Limited, Alabi Olufunso, shared his excitement for the launch of the new product.
