Cape Verde goalkeeper, Vozinha was on Wednesday unveiled by Chilean club Colo Colo after parting ways with Portuguese second division club Chavez in June.
The 40-year-old, whose real name is Josimar Jose Evora Dias, became a global cult hero and social media sensation at the 2026 FIFA World Cup as his island nation made a historic debut.
First announced in July, Vozinha’s arrival at Colo Colo was initially delayed by visa problems and personal issues, according to INES.
The shotstopper has now been unveiled by the club having completed a medical and signed necessary paperwork at the club’s headquarters in Santiago.
