Voting materials hijacked in Okrika, Bayelsa

Voting materials have reportedly been hijacked in four wards in Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State by political thugs, whose identities could not ascertained at the time of sending this report.

Meanwhile, the residence of a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anam, Okrika, was allegedly raided by armed security personnel, apparently in search of electoral materials.

However, as the time of filing this report, the hijacked materials have not been recovered, as the council chairman, Philemon Kingoli, has called for the cancellation of election in the affected areas.
