According to Engr. Chief Ezeifedi Umeukeje who is the S.A to the governor on price control and commodity regulations in Imo State, Distinguished Senator Uzodimma has performed creditably well in the last 3 and a half years and therefore deserves a second term ticket from all well-meaning citizen of Imo State,
Speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the New Yam Festival of the Eze Ndigbo of Ojokoro Land in Lagos State Eze Charles Ukeje (ONODUGO), held on 22nd October 2023 in Ojokoro LCDA. Engr. Umeukeje who also holds the title of Ugoabata Na Obi Ndigbo of Ojokoro commended the Imo State Governor for his laudable achievements in the State within a short time in office irrespective of various distractions that the enemies of the state are causing here and there.
The S.A who was represented at the iwa-ji ceremony by Chief Kingsley Kingsley Ihekoronye said that Imo State has not been this lucky in governance since after Chief Sam Mbakwe, stressing that the roads constructed by Sen Uzodinma has the quality to remain in good condition for many years to come.
He therefore implored imo citizen from the three zones of Imo State to come out en-mass on the 11th of November 2023 and cast their votes for Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma (Onwa) and return him to office for a second term to ensure continuity of these developmental programme and projects he has embarked upon emphasizing that Imolites have nothing to lose by voting for Senator Hope Uzodimma but has everything to lose if they fail to return him to power.
Engr.Chief Ezeifedi Umeukeje called on Imolites in Lagos to sensitize their families at home on the need to vote for the candidate who has what it takes to attract Federal Government presence to Imo State in particular and Ala Igbo in general. Considering the sensitive position Governor Uzodinma occupies in the ruling party, he is that candidate.
He reminded them that only a man of Gov. Uzodinma’s quality could resolve the impasse between Igbos in Alaba international market and the Lagos State Government which created serious panic and unrest among the Igbos resident in Lagos
Engr. Umeukeje describe Gov. Uzodimma as a rare creature just like the parrot and rabbit who are the only animals that can see their backs without turning their heads hence he saw ahead of time what other south eastern leaders could not see and positioned himself accordingly therefore a second term ticket will enable him consolidate on his achievement in the state and to reposition the South-East in the scheme of things in Nigeria.
In conclusion, the S.A to the governor who also holds the chieftaincy title Dikeoha of ideato likened Governor Hope Uzodimma’s position in the contemporary Nigerian politics to a dwarf in Onitsha named Onyemaechi whose house was marked for demolition by the Government and when the Government caterpillar came to demolish the house, Onyemaechi climbed to the top of the house and told them that “if you demolish this house, you have to demolished Onyemaechi” and the government spared his house. This is to say that if Uzodimma is defeated in this election, it is the entire Igbos that is defeated not only Imo State therefore all hands must be on deck to ensure his victory in the coming election.
In his address at the occasion to commemorate his 2023 New yam Festival, Eze Igbo of Ojokoro Land Lagos – Eze Charles Ukeje (Onodugo) prayed for peace in Igbo Land as a whole and Imo State in particular stressing that security situation in the area is an issue of serious concern that has given our people a very negative image in the Comity of Nations and has slowed down the rate of development in the area.
