Billionaire businessman, Prince Arthur Eze has described the Imo state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma as a visionary leader in the mould of the first executive governor of old Imo state, Sam Mbakwe .
Prince Eze who stated this when Zonal Executive of the South East All Progressives Congress paid him a courtesy call at his Abuja residence, said the current governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodimma is a visionary leader in the mould of late Chief Sam Mbakwe , first executive governor old Imo state.
He said, ” The first democratic Governor of Imo State, Chief Sam Mbakwe,was one of the few true Igbo leaders Nigeria has ever known and a great visionary leader. The current governor of the state, Senator Hope Uzodimma is also cast in the same mould like late Chief Sam Mbakwe in his relentless effort to ensure that Igbos will have their place in the political space of Nigeria”.
He advised the South-East Zonal Executive Committee on the right steps to take to fulfill the mandate given to them which will ensure that the Igbos get their fair share under the government of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu come 2023.
Speaking earlier ,Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu, the APC National Vice Chairman, South-East, said that they have come to intimate him with the program developed by APC south east under the leadership of Senator Hope Uzodimma aimed at ensuring that the Zone will get its fair share in the coming APC government.
He also disclosed the challenges currently being faced by the party and solicited for his support as one of the leaders of the south east who is not only known for his philanthropy , but also for his to quest ensure the development of the south east .
